The Duchess of Sussex attended the wedding of Harry's cousin and Princess Diana's niece Celia McCorquodale in a floral wrap dress.
Ever since announcing her engagement to Prince Harry, the world's eyes have been fixed on Meghan Markle — and her style. We'll be following the Meghan Markle Effect™ with our column, "Meghan Markle Wore a Thing."
Looks like Meghan Markle has started her summer off like many of us commoners do, by making her June wedding rounds. She and her Prince attended Celia McCorquodale's nuptials on Saturday clad in cheerful blue ensembles. McCorquodale is Harry's first cousin and the late Princess Diana's niece, and she tied the knot with George Woodhouse at St. Andrew and St. Mary's Church in Lincolnshire.
The Duchess of Sussex chose a drapey, floor-length wrap dress in a blue-and-white floral pattern by Oscar de la Renta, which she accessorized with a dainty Aquazzura pump and a Carolina Herrera Scala Insignia Clutch in white. She rounded out the look with a white fascinator and her signature messy bun. She looked ethereal and angel-like, but her the gown was pared down just enough so as to not overshadow the bride.
Her new husband was by her side and looked dapper as usual. The royal red-head wore a three-piece suit, complete with striped trousers, a polka-dotted blue tie and his signature scruff.
