Meghan Markle Was Spotted Picking Up a Friend From the Airport in Canada

In the midst of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's decision to step back from the royal family, Meghan has returned to Canada, where she's since been spotted out in Vancouver, making a surprise visit to a center for girls.

Earlier this week, the Duchess of Sussex was seen doing an airport pickup for a friend who the Daily Mail has identified as Heather Dorak, a pilates instructor Meghan has been friends with since her pre-royal days.

Dorak, who owns the the founder of Pilates Platinum (which Meghan once called "hands down the best thing you could do for your body," was seen landing at Victoria International Airport in photos obtained by Daily Mail. Meghan drove in to pick her up, accompanied by what appears to be a security guard in the passenger seat.

Dorak also attended Harry and Meghan's wedding in 2018, and has been pictured with Meghan since the Tig era.

Since the Sussexes announced their decision to scale back on their role in the royal family and divide their time between the U.K. and North America, Prince Harry has been attending public engagements in London while Meghan has been in Canada with Archie.

On Friday, CNN reported that members of Meghan and Harry's staff at their Frogmore Cottage home have been "redeployed" as the Sussexes stepped back from their roles, though it's unclear where the staff has been redirected.

"In quiet periods staff are often redeployed elsewhere around the estate," the source told CNN. "No members of staff have been let go."
