Here’s How Meghan Markle Will Spend Her 39th Birthday

Meghan Markle is preparing to celebrate her 39th birthday on August 4. So, how will the Duchess of Sussex celebrate the big day?

The royal family hasn’t released an official statement about Markle’s plans, but we have a pretty good idea based on her whereabouts.

The birthday festivities will likely take place at Markle’s new temporary home in Los Angeles. (She and Prince Harry moved to California shortly after announcing their resignation as senior royals.)

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, we expect the guest list to be kept to a minimum. This includes Prince Harry, her son, Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor and Markle’s mom, Doria Ragland, who lives near the royal couple.

Unfortunately, we don’t expect a surprise visit from Prince Harry’s relatives—like Prince William, Kate Middleton or (dare we say) Queen Elizabeth. Still, activities might include a group video chat with the royal family, who have been staying connected via Zoom, according to Prince William.

As for the food, Prince Harry will likely go above and beyond for his wife. Not only is Markle a foodie, but she also arranged a Mexican-themed dinner (complete with margaritas) for their second wedding anniversary back in May. Pressure’s on.

Wishing Markle all the best during her first (and hopefully only) quarantine birthday. *Cue the onslaught of social media tributes*
