Meghan Markle's Son Is a Taurus, and He May Be A Handful for His Parents

Early this morning, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry officially became parents to a healthy baby boy. Prince Harry has reported that both Baby Sussex and Meghan are doing well and that, as parents, he and Meghan are both "absolutely thrilled" about the newest addition to the Royal Family.

While we're still left with some questions– what's Baby Sussex's name? Is he a red-head like his father? – at least we do know one thing for sure: he's a Taurus! So, what exactly does this mean for the new royal baby?

Born between April 20 and May 21, Taurus’s are smart, level-headed and ambitious people. At times, Taurus can be stubborn, but that’s not a bad thing- in fact, their persistence and ability to charge headfirst towards their goals makes them great leaders. And that’s the kind of trait you want in a royal, right? After all, Baby Sussex’s great-grandmother is a Taurus as well and look at all she’s done in the time she’s held the throne. That’s right: Queen Elizabeth II shares an astrological sign with her youngest great-grandchild.

“This baby will be quirky and unconventional and will be his or her own person,” said Penny Thorton, astrologer to the late Princess Diana, in an interview with PEOPLE. “He or she will be very forthright, sporty, adventurous, independent and extrovert,” she added.

On most days, a Taurus is patient, organized, dedicated and loyal. According to AstroStar, they’re happiest when they’re surrounded by the best of everything - and at Kensington Palace, that shouldn’t be an issue. On a bad day, Taurus’ inability to compromise could potentially cause problems, but as long as Baby Sussex knows this about himself, these qualities can definitely be kept in check.

We can also make a few guesses on the kind of relationship Meghan and Prince Harry will have with their baby based on the way their own sun signs are known to interact with Taurus.

Born at the beginning of August, Meghan identifies as fierce and stable Leo. According to AstrologyK, Leo mothers are loving and loyal enough to give their Taurus child the warm, stable home base he or she will need to thrive. However, Leos love order and structure, and there may come a time in the future where Meghan’s hopes and plans for her baby’s life won’t be in-line with what Baby Sussex sees for himself. As long as there is open communication, however, Mama Leo and Baby Taurus will work through it.

Prince Harry, a Virgo born in the middle of September, will likely have a smooth relationship with his child. Virgo and Taurus agree on almost all basic life issues as they assign them the same level of importance. Virgo dads, according to AstrologyK, value order and organization, which their Taurus children appreciate greatly. From time to time, Taurus’ stubbornness could cause Baby Sussex to argue with Prince Harry, but, again, an open flow of communication will help smooth things out.

Coincidentally, Baby Sussex shares a zodiac sign with two of his cousins - Princess Charlotte and Prince Louis both identify as Taureans. Taurus/Taurus friendships are greats ones. Because all three cousins will have those loyal and dependable personality traits, their relationships with one another will be steady. Prince George, born July 22, is a Cancer, which means he and Baby Sussex will also likely have a solid friendship to rely on. According to Astrobix, Cancer and Taurus are two signs who communicate well with each other, so Prince George and his baby cousin are sure to have a deep connection.
