Meghan Markle and Prince Harry Told the Royal Family Their Baby News at Princess Eugenie's Wedding
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry announced to the world this morning that they are expecting their first child, with People reporting that Meghan had her 12-week scan and is "feeling well." But they only very recently broke the news to the Queen and royal family as well-and during another royal's big event. Daily Mail reports that Meghan and Harry broke the news to their relatives on Friday at Princess Eugenie's wedding. Specifically, the Queen, Prince Philip, Prince Charles, Kate Middleton, and Prince William were told in person there.
That means that Eugenie had to share the spotlight on her wedding day-and it may be something that Eugenie's mother at least is a little sore about. At the time Harry and Meghan announced their baby news, Eugenie's mother, Sarah Ferguson, tweeted photos of Eugenie and herself from the wedding. Coincidence?
She tweeted her posts at 5:10 a.m. and 5:39 a.m. EST respectively:

While Harry and Meghan announced their news shortly before at 3:39 a.m.:
