Throwing it back on this Thursday to remind you of that time a royal aide alleged that Meghan Markle bullied her and “drove two personal assistants out of the household and was undermining the confidence of a third staff member.” The palace launched an investigation into the allegations, but get this: A report of the findings never emerged, causing a ton of people to speculate that Queen Elizabeth II buried the report.

And according to Entertainment Tonight’s royal expert Katie Nicholl, that seems to check out. “The Queen doesn’t want any more drama," said Nicholl. "She just doesn’t want any more dirty linens aired in public.”

Now, Harry and Meghan have shared their feelings with friends about the report being kept under wraps. According to an E! News source who is close to the couple, the Sussexes are "disappointed" that investigation's findings won't be released.

Harry and Meghan outright denied the bullying accusations months ago via a spokesperson's statement. In part, it read:

"The duchess is saddened by this latest attack on her character, particularly as someone who has been the target of bullying herself and is deeply committed to supporting those who have experienced pain and trauma. She is determined to continue her work building compassion around the world and will keep striving to set an example for doing what is right and doing what is good."

The initial allegations came just a few days before Meghan and Harry's tell-all interview with Oprah Winfrey in March 2021.
