Meghan Markle's 2023 Invictus Games style has been a refreshing mix of accessible retailers and designer accessories, and her outfit today did not disappoint.
For the second to last day of the Games—which falls on Prince Harry's 39th birthday—Meghan opted for a $50 Zara romper (which is no longer for sale, but very similar styles are). The Duchess of Sussex styled the belted short romper with an oversized blazer, a crossbody bag from Cesta Collective, and leather slides from Yves Saint Laurent, elevating the (mostly) affordable look.

Meghan also stuck to her signature gold jewelry accessories, today choosing to wear Bottega Veneta Chain Hoop Earrings and a pendant necklace that featured a lion for her Zodiac sign, Leo, from Brilliant Earth. This isn't her first time wearing zodiac-themed jewelry; in 2021, she was spotted wearing necklaces that featured constellations of her children's star signs. She also sported one of her favorite pairs of sunglasses from Krewe.
Today's outfit fits in with the neutral color palette Meghan has worn for the entire week, opting for black, white, or beige clothing from brands like J.Crew, Ralph Lauren, Frame denim, and more. In their Netflix docuseries Harry & Meghan, Meghan spoke about her decision to wear neutrals on royal engagements. "To my understanding, you can't ever wear the same color as Her Majesty [Queen Elizabeth] if there's a group event. But then you also should never be wearing the same color as one of the other more senior members of the family," she said.
The Duchess of Sussex continued, "It also was so I could just blend in. I'm not trying to stand out here. So there's no version of me joining this family and trying to not do everything I could to fit in. I don't want to embarrass the family." Yet in her post-royal life, it seems as if Meghan has still stuck to her go-to neutrals.
