The year isn’t even quite over yet and, already, it’s been a big one for new famous (new) mamas. Remember the pomp and circumstance surrounding Meghan Markle giving birth to her first child in May? The world rejoiced at the first glimpse of baby Archie. Orange Is the New Black alum gave us new life with her pure joy leading up to, well, actually giving new life. And we’ve all followed along, often laughing hysterically, as first-time mom Amy Schumer chronicles her post-partum adventures.

Considering an estimated 350,000 babies are born globally every day, the relative number of celebrities joining the parenthood probably isn’t any higher than normal. Still, that doesn’t change the fact that it feels as though we’ve been ooh-ing and ahh-ing over celebrity babies non-stop this year — and cheering on all of these famous new faces in the motherhood.

It’s a Boy! 💙👶💙 Streams of joy and gratitude poured down our cheeks as, yesterday, we finally welcomed into our nest, our little angel. 👼 He chose to arrive unexpectedly at 34 weeks in the middle of the night in a remote area surrounded by nature. During this storm, in which we almost gave birth to a premature baby in the car, heading towards the nearest hospital, we felt unconditional love and grace embrace us; holding us in its pure light. ✨✨✨ Since November 15th, it has been an intense journey at different hospitals, praying for our babys recovery and wishing him to become stronger and healthier, but we felt divinely guided all along the way and supported by many angels, whom we are infinitely grateful for. 🙏 My hubby and I didn’t share anything as we didn’t want to worry anyone until our baby was safe and out of danger. This experience has been a conviction of the power of transformation of all things into LOVE when our mind, heart, body, and soul are in alignment. Now our beautiful baby boy is with us, safe, protected, loved and in peace✌ We are in Bliss, we are in Gratitude, and we are in LOVE with our sweet angel that is revealing to us unraveling Wisdom and Truth of many life's miracles on our beautiful planet Earth. 🌈 Thank you to God and the Universe for blessing us with this miracle of Life in Divine timing.🙏💜🌎🌈 🦋✨ #Peace #Bliss #UnconditionalLove #Gratitude #Transformative #Journey #Divine #Union #SacredBirth #SacredSpace #NewHumanity #NewWorld #Consciousness #EcoBaby

On Nov. 26, the model welcomed a little boy into the world with husband Benjamin Larretche. As she revealed on social media, Nemcova gave birth to the child six weeks early in a rural area surrounded by nature. Accordingly, they went on to name him “Bodhi,” which she explained on Instagram is “derived from an ancient Buddhist concept that expresses the understanding and pure knowledge of being in union with the Nature of the Universe.”

Amanda Fuller

Despite being told by doctors that it would be “nearly impossible” to get pregnant, The Last Man Standing and Orange Is the New Black star gave birth to her first child with husband Matthew Bryon Feld in November. In her first post-partum social media post, she called the newborn her “hero.”

Danielle Brooks

Fuller’s fellow Orange Is the New Black alum and her boyfriend also welcomed their first child in November. For Brooks, it was a baby girl. The actor hasn’t yet made her little girl’s name public, but maybe her new Netflix series A Little Bit Pregnant holds some clues about the child’s moniker.

Ashley Darby

This Real Housewives of Potomac star became a mom on Sunday, July 7, when she and husband Michael Darby brought son Dean Michael Darby into the world. On Instagram, she described the day as “the sunniest day after a sky filled with grey” and “the most sensational day of our shared life.”

Kate Mara

Fantastic Four? Maybe next year. For now, Kate Mara and husband Jamie Bell’s household consists of their newly-minted fantastic three: the two new parents, and a baby girl born in May.

Meghan Markle

After what seemed like an inordinately long wait (what? we’re impatient), the Duchess and Duke of Sussex announced that their first child, baby Archie, was born on May 6. Speaking with reporters after the birth, the proud dad gushed, “It was amazing, absolutely incredible, and I’m so incredibly proud of my wife. As every father and parent will ever say your baby is absolutely amazing, but this little thing is absolutely to-die-for, so I’m just over the moon.”

Shay Mitchell

Pretty Little LiarsShay Mitchell had a lot to be thankful for this Thanksgiving! In early November, she and boyfriend Matte Babel brought home their first baby from the hospital, a little girl they later revealed to be named Atlas.

Our royal baby was born.” The following day, Schumer shared the newborn’s name: “Gene Attell Fischer.” And she’s pretty much become our post-partum queen ever since.

Tamron Hall

What an inspiring woman! The former NBC Today host announced in April that she’d become a new mom, sharing in subsequent interviews her long struggle with infertility. Hall’s child, whom she shares with husband Steven Green, is named Moses. “I want to introduce my #sonshine,” Hall captioned the first snapshot of her baby. “Photo credit: Dad who can’t stop crying tears of joy. Thank y’all for the love and support. It got us here.”

Say hello to another new Real Housewives mama! Franchise “villain” Porsha Williams and fiancé Dennis McKinley welcomed a baby girl name Pilar Jhena.

Camille Guaty-Kaye

The Prison Break actor and husband Sy Rhys Kaye welcomed their first child, a son named Morrison Rafael Kaye, on Saturday, Oct. 5. Born at 3:41 p.m., baby Morrison weighed in at 6 lbs., 2 oz., and measured 20 inches long.

Shawn Johnson East

Could there be another Olympic great in the near future? Maybe, since decorated gymnast Shawn Johnson East and husband Andrew East welcomed their first child this year. She might be named after her daddy, but here’s hoping little Drew Hazel East inherits her mommy’s skills.

Joanna Krupa

In early November, Real Housewives of Miami alum Joanna Krupa revealed that she and husband Douglas Nunes are now the proud parents of a little girl named Asha-Leigh Presley Nunes. “One of the most amazing emotional and hardest days of my lie,” Krupa wrote on Instagram of Asha-Leigh’s birth, adding, “All I can say is women are true warriors.”

Natalie Imbruglia

The Australian singer-songwriter broke her big news by sharing a sweet snapshot of her son’s hand. “Welcome to the world. Max Valentine Imbruglia,” she wrote, revealing her child’s name. “My heart is bursting.”

Eliza Dushku

She hasn’t revealed her firstborn’s exact birthdate yet, but we do know that Bring It On alum Eliza Dushku became a mom sometime in the late summer. She and husband Peter Palandijan revealed their child’s name in a subsequent IG post, saying, “Our BABY = #Bourne ✨ Can you feel the love, Philip “Bourne” !? 🦁🥰😝 So 🙏 for all this love”

Kayla Ewell

It was love at first sight (not bite, Vampire Diaries fans) for this actor and her husband Tanner Novlan when they laid eyes on their new child, Poppy Marie Novlan. “And just like that, our whole world has changed,” Ewell captioned a photo of herself holding her newborn.

Danielle Fishel

Lauren Luyendyk

Don’t you love a good Bachelor Nation success story? In May, Arie Luyendyk Jr., and Lauren Burnham became parents when they welcomed a little girl into the world. “We have a BEAUTIFUL baby girl 6 lbs, 13 Oz. 20cm Long,” the doting dad confirmed in an Instagram Story. “Mommy and baby are doing great, we are so incredibly happy.”They named the child Alessi Ren Luyendyk.

After being spotted out and about in NYC with a stroller, her rep confirmed, “We can confirm that Greta Gerwig and Noah Baumbach have welcomed their first child together.”

Mamie Gummer

Big congrats are in order for Mamie Gummer and Meryl Streep, by proxy! The latter became a grandma for the first time when Gummer and fiancé Mehar Sethi welcomed a baby boy in March.

Bekah Martinez

Former Bachelor contestant Bekah Martinez brought her first child — a baby girl — with boyfriend Grayston Leonard into the world via water birth in February. “Introducing… Ruth Ray De La Luz Leonard ✨ (aka Ruthie Ray),” she wrote alongside an adorable newborn shot, captured by Kinda Arzon, “Ruth= Grayston’s grandmother’s name, and one of my favorite biblical stories. Hebrew for friend or companion. De La Luz= My dad’s middle name. Spanish for ‘of the light’. A tribute to my Mexican heritage. Leonard= Her Daddy’s last name.”
