Meghan Markle Makes Surprise Visit to Vancouver Women’s Center (& Poses for a Pic)
“Look who we had tea with today! The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, visited us today to discuss issues affecting women in the community,” they captioned the photo.
In the pic, we see Markle posing (and smiling) alongside eight women from the center. This is the first event for Markle since she and Prince Harry announced their decision to step back as senior members of the royal family.
Earlier this week, Queen Elizabeth gathered with Prince Harry, Prince William and Prince Charles to smooth out how the royal transition will work. Although the duchess had been expected to call into the meeting with the queen and other members, it was decided that it wasn't necessary for her to join the discussion, according to CNN.
Following the two-and-a-half-hour family summit, Her Majesty issued a candid statement about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s future. And while it seems things are starting to get figured out, not everything is sorted quite yet.
We’re just happy to see Markle doing what she does best (and enjoying some tea).
