Having supported Serena Williams when she played at Wimbledon earlier this year, the duchess decided to make a special trip to New York to watch her friend play in the US Open final. The Times reported that Meghan was "excited to support her friend, and then come back," and that the duchess would be flying commercial for the journey.

For the occasion, Meghan sat in Serena Williams's box. She wore a navy blue dress with a light trench coat. She wore her hair down and looked ecstatic to be attending the sporting event.

Following Meghan's arrival in the United States, People reported that the royal went to a public class at a yoga studio in the West Village, which is apparently eco-conscious. Duchess Meghan apparently joined a busy class of around 60 people, as she attempted to ward off her jet lag, according to a source.
