The Duchess of Sussex is on her first major trip after giving birth to baby Lilibet in June. Alongside her autumnal outfit, Meghan marked the special occasion by wearing a particularly meaningful piece of jewelry. For one of yesterday's engagements, Meghan sported the diamond earrings that she also wore for her 2018 royal wedding.

For her visit to the One World Observatory at the World Trade Center, with Mayor Bill de Blasio and Governor Kathy Hochul, Meghan opted for an all black outfit, matching with Prince Harry, and slicked her hair into a polished low bun. The hairstyle showed off the white gold and diamond Cartier stud earrings that Meghan wore on her wedding day at Windsor Castle. The Duchess complemented the earrings with some of her other favorite jewelry pieces, like her Cartier Tank watch and her engagement ring.

The Duchess seems to pull out the earrings for special occasions. She also chose them for her son Archie's christening in July 2019. According to fashion blog Meghan's Mirror, the earrings are the Galanterie de Cartier style, featuring 18K white gold and each set with a larger brilliant-cut diamond, and paved with smaller brilliant-cut diamonds.

Meghan and Harry continued their New York excursions today with a trip to Harlem elementary school P.S. 123 Mahalia Jackson. In contrast to yesterday's neutral outfit, the Duchess wore a menswear-style burgundy suit, including matching red pointed toe pumps. She opted for gold jewelry, including, once again, the Cartier Tank watch.

Tomorrow, the couple will appear in Global Citizen Live, a concert in Central Park aiming to promote equal access to the Covid vaccine. The event is set to begin streaming at 1 p.m. ET live from the Great Lawn.
