Meghan Markle’s love affair with New York–based shoe brand Sarah Flint goes back years. Time after time, she’s rocked Sarah Flint–designed boots, flats and heels. So, when the 38-year-old Duchess of Sussex got ready for a royal engagement at Windsor Castle this week, she must have thought, why stray from a tried and true?
Markle attended a roundtable discussion about gender equality and inclusion with young leaders from One Young World and the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust from a number of countries around the world.
Although she was initially slated to attend solo, Prince Harry ended up making a surprise appearance alongside his wife. The 35-year-old Duke of Sussex and the duchess serve as president and vice president, respectively, of the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust.
The Duchess of Sussex previously wore the Perfect Pumps in black for her first outing with Queen Elizabeth and also seems to have inspired Princess Eugenie to become a fan of the brand’s classic heel.
Aside from Markle’s cabernet suede version, the Perfect Pump comes in 12 other colors and prints.
Interestingly, the Perfect Pump wasn’t the aspect of the Duchess of Sussex’s ensemble that made us do a double take. In fact, Queen Letizia of Spain also wore the exact same BOSS by Hugo Boss pencil skirt just hours before. What are the chances?
Great royal minds think alike.
