  • Meghan Markle had to partake in intense royal training before marrying Prince Harry.

  • It involved being fake “kidnapped” and rescued by officers.

You know, Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand’s Finding Freedom tell-all book really is the gift that keeps giving. Thanks to these two, we now know that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry fired their nurse in the middle of the night after Archie was born, Harry and Prince William’s never-ending drama stems from money, and Kate Middleton did diddly-squat to welcome Meghan into the royal fam. And now, we’re learning that before marrying Harry, Meghan had to go through some seriously intense training sessions that probably rivals the FBI, CIA, and SWAT teams.

According to an excerpt from the book, Meghan “underwent an intense two-day security course with the SAS, the British Army’s most elite regiment,” which sounds high-key intimidating!!! “Meghan took part in a staged kidnapping, where she was bundled into the back of a car by a ‘terrorist,’ taken to a different location, and then ‘saved’ by officers firing fake guns (the kind used in Hollywood filming) for realism," the book says.

When Meghan and Harry first started dating, Us Weekly revealed Meghan was “given some basic training by protection staff, learning what to do in various situations, whether that’s receiving threats or if she’s worried about someone following her.” The insider added that Meghan’s training was “very much the same process” that Kate went through before she got married to William in 2011.

Welp…let's hope Meghan got emotional support after that training was done because W-O-W, it is A Lot. I can almost understand why she wanted to come to America now.
