Meghan Markle Dressed in a Black Coat and Skinny Jeans for Her NYC Baby Shower
Another peek at how Meghan Markle is dressing off-duty during her New York City vacation emerged this afternoon. The Duchess of Sussex was photographed leaving her hotel to travel to the Upper East Side, where her baby shower is being held. Meghan was chic but casual in a William Vintage Courrèges Haute Couture black trapeze coat, black skinny jeans, and nude heels. She carried a matching nude bag.
Meghan was first photographed last night in a navy overcoat and grey newsboy cap. But today's shot of Meghan is the clearest taken yet of the Duchess during her five-day New York City trip.
Meghan will be joined by 15 of her closest friends uptown for her baby shower. Omid Scobie told Good Morning America that "today's baby shower is a reunion of sorts for Meghan. [Guests] include best pal Jessica Mulroney, actress and close pal Abigail Spencer has flown in and Priyanka Chopra is supposed to be flying in especially for this from London Fashion Week." While Chopra just shared a shot of herself in Beverly Hills, perhaps confirming she won't be at the shower, Spencer was photographed arriving at Meghan's shower venue earlier.
Meghan's trip to New York City started on the 15th and comes before she and Prince Harry will make an official visit to Morocco this weekend.
A source close to Meghan told Harper's Bazaar this weekend that Meghan's New York trip has been planned for months. “The trip is a lovely chance to catch up with friends and spend time in a city she loves,” a source close to the duchess told the outlet. "This will be the last time a lot of them will see Meg until after the baby is born so it’s nice to share precious moments."
