Meghan Markle is a fan of laid-back, breezy hairstyles. For her past public appearances, she's mostly worn her hair down in subtle waves or up in a loose, low bun with two signature "tendrils" framing the sides of her face. (She even got married in that hairstyle.) But today, for her second day of royal tour in Australia, the Duchess of Sussex kept her face free of stray hairs with a classic, no-fuss 'do: a ponytail.

She and Prince Harry are set to spend a lot of time outdoors in Dubbo, Australia today, as they'll meet local farmers suffering from drought, enjoy a barbecue with the public, and play games of net ball and touch football with local students. We're sure the Duchess will want to keep her hair up while scoring some touchdowns.

Although we often see royals keeping their hair in prim and proper up-dos (Kate even wears a hair net sometimes) or peeking out from under their over-the-top fascinators, they aren't strangers to the classic pony, either.

While on royal tour of New Zealand in 2014, the Duchess of Cambridge also kept her hair out of the way with the simple yet sophisticated look.

This isn't the first time Meghan has deviated from her signature loose curls or bun. Last month, she straightened her layered hair for an appearance at the Coach Core Awards with Prince Harry. And in July, she wore her brunette locks in a slick low bun with a middle part, leaving us speculating if she was growing out her tendrils.

We wonder if Meghan will debut any more new hairstyles during her royal tour.
