Meghan Markle Arrives in Diamond Earrings to the Queen's Pre-Christmas Lunch
The royal family have all been photographed arriving today for their first holiday event this Christmas: the Queen's pre-Christmas lunch at Buckingham Palace. Kate Middleton was seen in pink, and Meghan Markle, for her second pre-Christmas lunch ever, wore diamond earrings and what appears to be a black outfit. Meghan and her husband Prince Harry drove to the Buckingham Palace event together, while Kate is with Prince William.
The pre-Christmas lunch is a private event, meaning the only photographs that will come from it are those taken of the royal family arriving and departing Buckingham Palace. It comes before the group will retreat to Sandringham for their proper Christmas celebrations with the Queen. The full royal family will all be seen out next at the Norfolk Christmas morning church service.
Last year, Meghan, then just Harry's newly-announced fiancée, wore a black and white Self-Portrait dress to the event. It was thought to be her first time meeting the full, extended royal family.
