Finding shoes that are comfortable and go with everything feels like the most preposterous task to achieve, that’s why I always trust when influential personalities and celebrities become loyal consumers of certain brands. We all know Meghan Markle has been a fan of American shoe designer Sarah Flint since her acting days, and if she kept wearing them–even during pregnancy–then that must be saying something.

The celebrity-favorite shoe designer launched her first collection in 2013 at the age of 25, and to celebrate the successful fifth year of her on-demand Natalie flat, Flint released a very special made-to-order version of the shoe this week. Flint has always tried to marry artisanal and original design with comfort to make sure woman not only look great in their shoes but also feel good.

Inspired by Vermeer’s "Girl with the Pearl Earring," the brand created The Girl with the Pearl Natalie. This version of the famous flat is made out of hand-pleated satin and features an 18-karat gold bow, 49 genuine inset pearls, and a gold leather outsole and lining. Although price is upon request, each shoe will be made to order in Milan (where all Sarah Flint footwear is manufactured to ensure the best possible price-to-value to consumers) and all proceeds go to the Lower Eastside Girls Club in New York, an organization that connects girls in middle and high school to wellness and extracurricular programs.

And remember, pearls are meant to be worn on your best and most treasured accessories–including your shoes!

All the colors of the Natalie, including the new limited-edition suede, can be found at sarahflint.com.
