Meghan & Harry Celebrated Thanksgiving "Privately with Close Family"

From Harper's BAZAAR

Along with the rest of us, California-born Meghan Markle celebrated Thanksgiving last week. As previously reported, Meghan planned to spend the holiday with her husband, Prince Harry, their son, baby Archie, and the duchess' mother, Doria Ragland.

Omid Scobie, the Royal Editor at Large of BAZAAR.com, reported on The HeirPod podcast (via Cosmopolitan), "The Sussexes are away, they're on their break right up until Christmas." He continued, "They celebrated Thanksgiving privately with close family, which is lovely."

Scobie also noted that the royals wouldn't be coming back to England all that soon. He explained, "It's a long-time trip that they're on, I think we are really going to see them away until Christmas as far as I'm aware, which is good for them."

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex are taking their break from royal duties very seriously, and are even missing a reception at Buckingham Palace, which is being held in Donald Trump's honor.

It was also recently confirmed that the Sussexes won't be spending Christmas at Sandringham with the royal family this year. Per the couple's spokesperson, "Having spent the last two Christmases at Sandringham, Their Royal Highnesses will spend the holiday this year, as a new family, with the Duchess’ mother Doria Ragland."
