Megan Thee Stallion Just Debuted Aurora Borealis Hair for Pride

Over the weekend, Megan Thee Stallion showed her support for the LGBTQIA+ community with a video in which she revealed a brand-new rainbow wig in honor of Pride Month. The 25-year-old rapper is certainly no stranger to experimenting with elaborate wigs and eclectic hair colors — even still, this is easily one of the coolest color schemes we've seen her wear so far. Let's face it, folks: Pride-themed beauty is just the best.

As for the mastermind behind Meg's new hue, that would be Kellon Deryck, a hairstylist and wig specialist who splits his time between Los Angeles and Atlanta. He also works with stars like Missy Elliot, Nicki Minaj, and Ashanti, and is definitely worth following on Instagram if you're a fan of wig and hair-color content.

It's worth pointing out that the wig Deryck created for Meg is not only a nod to Pride Month — but to the new-ish Aurora Borealis hair-color trend that's been circulating on social media since early March. Also known as Northern Lights hair, it features an array of blue, purple, and green shades that, when melded together, give off an undeniable galaxy-like vibe.

To achieve the look, Deryck used various dyes from Guy Tang's #Mydentity collection, including the colors Purple Raven, Mint of Steel, Cosmic Coral, Phoenix Fire, and Sheer Power. "This was my first time doing this combination," he revealed in his post.

In addition to the aforementioned video clip, the "Savage" singer showed off her hair in a series of photos from the L.A. Black Pride parade, which took place over the weekend. "Today was a good day 💙 #allblacklivesmatter," she wrote on Instagram.

Props to Meg for supporting the LGBTQA+ community — and to Deryck bringing such a dreamy look to life.
