Megan Fox has only been dating Machine Gun Kelly for seven months, yet she's already getting ink in his honor. The actress debuted a new collarbone tattoo at Sunday's American Music Awards, which also marked the couple's awards show debut. Her tattoo appears in thin font on her left collarbone and appears to read "el pistolero," which is Spanish for "the gunman," one of MGK's nicknames.

For those keeping up with Kelly's latest album, Tickets To My Downfall, the ink isn't a surprise. On his song, "Banyan Tree (Interlude)" the couple can be heard referencing the body art they've gotten for one another. "That was four months ago, that we were right here, and I met you," Fox can be heard saying on the track, continuing, "That's not possible. You just got my initials tattooed on you, and I got your nickname tattooed on me."

The couple met on the set of their movie Midnight In The Switchgrass earlier this year and went Instagram official with their relationship in July. Getting a tattoo for someone you're newly dating may seem fast to some, but Fox and Kelly have talked at length about their intense romantic connection. For Kelly's recent Nylon cover story, Fox opened up about how their relationship is a "once in a lifetime thing." She went on to say, “Loving him is like being in love with a tsunami or a forest fire. The intensity of merging with him is just overwhelming, and the threat it poses is so powerful but so beautiful that you have no choice to surrender with reverence and with gratitude.”

Hopefully Fox's MGK ink doesn't follow in the footsteps of her prominent Marilyn Monroe arm tattoo, which she got removed in 2012. "I was stubborn and I thought that I would love it forever, or that it would be like a book of my life, all the things that I loved when I was younger," Fox said on The Tonight Show at the time. "And it's not that at all."
