While Zac Efron has always been very low key when it comes to his private life, rumour has it the 32-year-old actor is getting serious with Australian model Vanessa Valladares.

Zac moved to Australia at the beginning of lockdown and the pair reportedly met in June at the Byron Bay General Store café where Vanessa was working. ‘Sightings’ of Efron at the café were reported by locals as early as July this year. Since then, the pair have been spotted enjoying a skiing trip together in Thredbo, New South Wales, while more recent photos show them holding hands while on a lunch date.

A source told Us Weekly, "Things moved quickly, and Vanessa spends most nights at Zac’s house. They are both very smitten with each other."

There’s also speculation that Efron may be moving to Australia on a permanent basis, with rumours suggesting Vanessa is one of the reasons.

So, what exactly do we know about his rumoured new girlfriend?

Vanessa, 25, is a former waitress and a few clicks on her Instagram shows that she’s also building a reputable modelling career, having worked for several Australian brands including Love St and Of The Sun, as well as international label RVCA.

Vanessa has 4.5k followers on Instagram (which we reckon might be about to rise dramatically) and her grid is a stylish blend of professional shots with poetry-infused captions. She has four stories posted to her profile, titled ‘earth’, ‘wind’, ‘fire’ and ‘air’, which may give you some idea of her spiritual vibe.

While her Instagram bio indicates that she lives in Byron Shire, a small city in Byron Bay, we definitely get the feeling that Vanessa has a bit of the old wanderlust about her too. Her Insta is brimming with photos from trips across the world from Jaipur to Indonesia, which makes her sound like she could be the perfect partner for Down To Earth star Zac.
