Meet the TikToker who claims he can ‘calculate’ anyone’s height
Could you guess someone’s height just from a photo of them drinking Starbucks?
How about a picture of them eating an apple? Or a video of them doing push-ups?
As ridiculous as all that might sound, it’s exactly how TikTok user @kentai.haven has amassed more than 1.2 million followers. The concept is simple, but @kentai.haven’s methods … well, those are a little more complex. Here’s what it looks like in action.

Most of @kentai.haven’s videos follow the format of the clip above. Typically, other TikTok users create a clip challenging him to guess their height — then, using videos, Instagram photos or whatever else he can find, he gets to work.
Often, @kentai.haven challenges himself by picking something minute or inconsequential — like an apple — as the basis for his formula.
All of his calculations, though, seem to come down to determining the size of a person’s hands and, ideally, their wingspan. From there, it’s possible to at least make an educated guess at someone’s height, thanks to known trends in the proportions of human bodies.
It’s the same idea that allowed TikToker @gadelhaha to go viral with her own video series. The user, like @kentai.haven, claims she can predict a person’s height based solely on objects within their dating profile pictures.
Meanwhile, @kentai.haven often takes things to the next level. In one particularly mind-blowing video, he claimed to predict a woman’s height based on the *checks notes* amount of ramen she ate in a photo?

Based on the comments in @kentai.haven’s videos, he’s not always exactly right, but TikTok users are impressed all the same.
“You coulda said 4’2” and I would’ve believed you,” a commenter wrote on one video.
“He’s too smart,” another added.
“This man is a genius,” another praised.
