Man, the Outer Banks. What a spot. I always knew it as the strange, remote place my best friend drove to every summer to drink on the beach and play golf. Apparently, the Netflixed version of the North Carolina vacation destination is a little bit different! Outer Banks, which just debuted its batshit second season on Netflix this Friday, would have you think its not only the epicenter of teenage drama, but also of international crime, A Perfect Storm-type weather, and hidden treasure.

It's all in good fun, though. I think. Someone gets shot in the first season. But look over here! Yeah, right here. Outer Banks is loaded with a cast of young up-and-comers, who manage to deliver a boatload (pun intended) of quips so all the coastal violence doesn't bring you down too much. We'd like to introduce you to this cast, since you've probably seen some of 'em before. And if you haven't, you probably will in a future Netflix jam, or just Outer Banks Season Three. Here you go.

Cline has been taking small film and TV roles since the early 2010s, with parts in shows like Vice Principals and Stranger Things. Obviously, Outer Banks has been her big hit, even (we're assuming) landing her in a coveted role in the Knives Out 2 cast. Damn. She's also dating her co-star, Chase Stokes, for all you Sarah-John B stans.

Johnny B! Chase Stokes brings our hero to life. The 28-year-old hails from Annapolis, Maryland, and used to call himself a formidable hockey player. Now, like his Outer Banks counterpart, he spends his free time surfing and hanging out by the water. He's had roles in Stranger Things, The First, The Beach House, and more. Did we say he's dating his co-star Cline in real life?

Jonathan Daviss as Pope

At 22 years old, Daviss is one of the youngest members of the Outer Banks cast. No worries though. The Texas native more than holds his own. Even though Daviss's first TV role was in 2013's Revolution, his career is just starting to take off, with a role in Netlfix's upcoming film, Strangers. Sounds scary.

Alaska is really having a moment. The state just produced an Olympic gold medalist! And now, also one of our favorite members of the Outer Banks cast. Pankow, who hails from Ketchikan, Alaska, earned his stripes in the theater scene, taking roles in classic plays such as Oliver Twist, The Nutcracker, and Mary Poppins.

Madison Bailey as Kiara

Bailey is the rare Outer Banks cast member who is actually from North Carolina. That feels indirectly method, somehow. At just 22 years old, Bailey has one of the most impressive resumes of anyone in Outer Banks. If you caught the recent American Horror Stories, Bailey pops up as Kelley in the drive-in episode. Here's hoping we'll see even more down the line, besides her role in the upcoming Time Cut, which has been described as Back to the Future meets Scream. Damn.
