The McDonald's McGold Card Gets You Free Food For Life—And You Can Win One Right Now
For fast foodies, there are few things as elusive as McDonald's McGold Card, the shiny card that gets you all the Big Macs, Chicken McNuggets, and baked apple pies you can dream of. Unfortunately, the McGold Card can't be purchased and is instead typically gifted to those with a certain level of celebrity. Well, that's about to change now that McDonald's is giving customers the chance to win their very own card.
Food Network reports that as part of the chain's SZN of Sharing, fans who make a purchase on the McDonald's app from December 5 to 25 will increase their chances of winning a McGold Card. You can also enter to win the card by visiting the McDonald's for Life Appstakes website.
And since we all know that no one likes having to share their McNuggets, the winner of the McGold Card will also be able to give access to the card to three other people.
“Our fans have been fascinated by the lore of the McGold Card and if it really exists. And now, we’ll make this McDonald’s legend a reality for our fans by giving them the ultimate holiday gift – a chance to win a card and then share access to it with three of their family or friends,” said Tariq Hassan, McDonald’s USA chief marketing and customer experience officer. “Just by using the McDonald’s App, everyone can experience the joy that comes with sharing McDonald’s this holiday season.”
In addition to the epic McGold Card giveaway, McDonald's SZN of Sharing will also give customers the chance to take advantage of daily deals on menu items.
