McDonald’s Has A New Line Of Happy Meal Toys Inspired By A Disney World Ride
What do you get when you merge the magic of Disney and the happiness of McDonald’s? Disney-themed Happy Meal toys–specifically, ones that are inspired by Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway ride at Disney World.
The new toy line features Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, Donald, and Daisy as they experience a few of the iconic attractions at Walt Disney World Resort, according to the Disney Parks Blog. There are 10 toys that form a train when connected–hence, the inspiration from Mickey & Minnie’s Runaway Railway. Goofy is at the helm of the train with Mickey and Minnie pulling up the rear together and appearing throughout. Better yet, each character in every toy moves as the train rolls. How fun! I hope the Donald-Duck-in-a-teapot toy makes him swirl around in circles.
Now through December 14, the toys will be available to purchase with Happy Meals at participating McDonald’s locations while supplies last. When you do so, you can also enter for a chance to win a vacay to Disney World to go on the ride that inspired the new toy line.
I can already see these toys becoming a TikTok trend where people go to McDonald’s every day and open their Happy Meals to see what they get in the hopes of collecting them all. If you take up that mission, good luck! But remember: Having even just one would be a delight–especially since they're only available for a short time!
