Actress Mayim Bialik talks about her quarantine obsessions in New In The Q

MAYIM BIALIK: Hi, everybody. I'm Mayim Bialik. And I'm going to share some things that I've been obsessed with here on "New in the Q." I'm a person who's obsessed, in general, with Q-tips. I use them for personal hygiene. I use them for cleaning. I'm also super environmentally friendly. Reusable Q-tips, first of all, they're adorable, and they come in this cute little case. You use them. They're very soft. And then you can wash them and use them again. And then the other one is, like, textured. I mean, there's nothing cuter.

I am obsessed with Pro Plan LiveClear, which is the first and only cat food that reduces the major allergen that people are sensitive to. I happen to be dating someone who cannot be around me or my cats for more than 15 minutes if I'm with my cats. And it's kind of a problem. So I've taken the LiveClear Challenge. For my birthday this past year, my ex-husband and my children got me a puzzle board, which basically you just put on your table. But there's a giant, like, lazy Susan on the bottom so you can swivel it around. And it has really transformed the way that I work on puzzles. I can store it easier, and I can move it around. It's a super nerdy niche thing. But if you're a puzzle person, you know how exciting a puzzle table is.

This is something that in the special needs community people have known about for decades, that weighted items, like a weighted blanket or a weighted doll, can bring a lot of comfort.
