It’s no secret to Star Wars fans that May the 4th is more than an unofficial holiday celebrating the most epic sci-fi franchise ever. It’s also the perfect day to shop new products and score great deals on everything from collectibles and toys to clothing, tech, video games, home goods and much more.

But this year’s Star Wars Day is extra special, as it coincides with the 25th anniversary of 1999’s “Star Wars: The Phantom Menace.” As such, many of the galactic goods on offer celebrate the larger series while also paying specific tribute to the film that kicked off its prequel trilogy. So, while the following list contains plenty of awesome items spanning the entirety of the franchise, don’t be surprised if you also find that perfect pair of Jar Jar Binks socks or a new Darth Maul-inspired timepiece.

Toys and collectibles

LEGO Star Wars Sets

Lego
Lego

It wouldn’t be May the 4th without the launch of new LEGO Star Wars sets. But this year’s lineup is especially strong with the Force, as it’s also commemorating 25 years of creative, brick-snapping collaborations between The LEGO Group and Lucasfilm. The dual celebration brings seven new sets, including Darth Maul’s Sith Infiltrator, Droideka, Mos Espa Podrace Diorama and — exclusive to LEGO stores and LEGO.com — the nearly 2000-piece TIE Interceptor.

Love LEGO Star Wars but maybe not in the building mood? No worries. The new “The Force of Creativity” coffee-table book embraces the spirit and covers the history of the hobby without the risk of stepping on a stray brick.

Disney Doorables Star Wars Galaxy Peeks

Disney
Disney

Disney’s popular Doorables line, which puts an especially cute, collectible spin on Disney and Pixar characters, recently received the Star Wars treatment with its new Galaxy Peeks collection. Bundled in a Death Star-inspired capsule — which can also be used to display the diminutive toys — each Galaxy Peeks includes four blind-bagged minifigures. Celebrating both the sci-fi saga’s films and TV series, the line includes 25 total characters, including Princess Leia, Jabba the Hutt, the Mandalorian and more fan-favorite heroes, villains, creatures and droids.

Retrospekt Vintage Star Wars Collectibles

Retrospekt
Retrospekt

If you’re a Star Wars fan of a certain age, you may have owned the original trilogy on VHS, had an R2-D2 cassette player or, if you were really lucky, blasted tunes on a Darth Vader boombox. Thanks to Retrospekt — a vintage collectibles-recovering company that restores classic items to their former glory — you can enjoy all these items again … without the need for a time machine. In addition to the aforementioned May the 4th goodies, Retrospekt has recovered and painstakingly refurbished a number of other coveted Star Wars products, from video games and CD players to an “Episode 1” 35mm camera that mimics the look of battle droid electrobinoculars.
