Maxine Waters eviscerates Trump, calls him a 'Shameful racist' and 'Terrible for children'

During Angela Rye's State of the Union special on BET, Congresswoman Maxine Waters delivered a scathing response to President Donald Trump's State of the Union address and his claim of wanting to unify the country. In a pre taped speech, Waters said, "One speech cannot and does not make Donald Trump presidential. He's not presidential and he never will be presidential. He claims that he's bringing people together but make no mistake, he is a dangerous, unprincipled, divisive, and shameful racist." Waters cited the multiple times during Trump's first year in office, where he divided the country with his rhetoric. She said, "After trump defended white supremacists, targeted Muslims with his travel ban, described Mexicans as rapists, and mocked people with disabilities, it's impossible to believe him when he tries to declare he wants to bring the country together." But the most scathing remarks were the ones she left for the end of her speech. She said, "His hatred for women and people of color is a terrible role model for our children. Whenever he appears on TV there should be a disclaimer that says 'This may be acceptable for children.'"
