Luckily, there are clues to get the ball rolling. Masked Singer fans have started sharing their best guesses and a few of them make a lot of sense.
Who Is Baby Alien on The Masked Singer?
Here’s everything we know about Baby Alien so far:
Baby Alien is a friendly UFO, unless you’re a foe.
Baby Alien is “taking [its] first steps into a new world.”
Baby Alien has a connection to the number five.
In the first clue package, Baby Alien is shown in a red convertible car and a parade float.
Baby Alien performed weekly on Broadway and graced the Tony Awards stage.
The first clue package also features Seattle’s Space Needle, a horseshoe, a Ninja Turtle float, and a cracked golden bell.
Based on these hints, here’s who Masked Singer fans believe it could be:
Matthew Broderick made his Broadway debut at 17 opposite his father, James Broderick, in Horton Foote’s On Valentine’s Day. In 1983, he won his first Tony Award for Best Performance by an Actor in a Featured Role for the play Brighton Beach Memoirs. That same year, Matthew starred in the Oscar-nominated film WarGames, in which he portrayed a teen hacker named David Lightman from Seattle, Washington. Shortly after, the now 58-year-old actor was cast as the lead in the comedy Ferris Bueller’s Day Off. As many know, the hit movie features a red Ferrari and a parade.
For more than two decades, Sam Riegel has voiced characters in movies, animation TV series, and anime shows. Most notably, the 44-year-old was the voice actor behind Donatello in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles for six years. What’s more, Sam is part of the Twitch show Critical Role, which has a theme song entitled “Your Turn to Roll” with the lyrics, “Put your fate in your hands / Take a chance, roll the dice.” Meanwhile, Baby Alien says, “As the puppet master, my destiny is in my hands.”
While Baby Alien remains a mystery, fans have had a chance to hear its voice. This additional clue made viewers guess that Baby Alien is Jeff Dunham. Why? Well, the Dallas native is a renowned comedian and ventriloquist, which means he has plenty of experience working with a puppet. As for the number five, Jeff has a total of five children: three daughters and twin boys.
