Who Is Cluedle-Doo on The Masked Singer? We’re sharing the Internet’s top predictions below.
Right now, many fans are guessing Cluedle-Doo is actor and comedian Joel McHale.
Season 5 of The Masked Singer really is a game-changing season. In addition to introducing wildcard performers, the Fox competition series added yet another twist — and their name is Cluedle-Doo. The mysterious rooster has come onto season 5 to provide additional clues about the competing contestants. Though Cluedle-Doo has not yet shown us their singing talents, Masked Singer viewers are still trying to guess the character's secret identity.
Who is Cluedle-Doo on The Masked Singer?
In the video above, Cluedle-Doo says, “Hello, there. I’m Cluedle-Doo, top celebrity sleuth. I’ve hacked into the show and I’m here to change the game. I’ll be dropping special clues for you throughout the season the panel won’t see and pointing out some they miss.”
To get the full picture, let’s take a look at all the clues we know so far:
Cluedle-Doo is wearing a white and black patterned outfit. In addition to having a yellow beak, the character also has yellow claw hands. Their ensemble is completed with gold boots and a gold feather tail.
They’re introduced with the title “cage-free clue hacker” and they also have a white board with clues on it.
After watching the video a few times over and thinking about what Cluedle-Doo has said, here’s who Masked Singer fans think it could be.
Jamie Foxx
Since season 1, both Masked Singer judges and fans have continually guessed that actor Jamie Foxx is one of the many disguised characters performing on stage. Alas, five seasons in and the Oscar-winning actor hasn’t ever been unmasked (though he did guest judge an episode for season 3). But who knows, Cluedle-Doo might just be him.
Joel McHale
Considered an honorary judge on The Masked Singer, Joel McHale has appeared as a guest panelist on the singing competition series nearly a dozen times. Given his strong ties to the hit show, Joel is a pretty solid guess. Plus, viewers will soon be seeing more of him on Fox thanks to his new show Crime Scene Kitchen. Interestingly, the new guessing-game show is set to premiere right after The Masked singer season 5 finale on May 26. Could this just be a coincidence?
Gallo
Another theory is Cluedle-Doo is actually Gallo from the first season of The Masked Singer in Mexico (¿Quién es la máscara? in Spanish), a.k.a. retired soccer goalkeeper Moisés Muñoz. After all, both rooster costumes look identical and the two shows have featured similar getups before. For instance, a very similar (or perhaps the exact same!) Banana costume was used in both season 3 of The Masked Singer and season 2 of ¿Quién es la máscara?. That said, the two bananas ended up being different celebrities — Brett Michaels in the U.S. and Venezuelan actress Marjorie de Sousa in Mexico — so it's unlikely Moisés will appear a second time. But then again ... maybe the internet is onto something.
