Who is Night Angel on The Masked Singer?
Let's take a look at some of the clues we have so far:
Night Angel says that like an angel, she has "felt deeply blessed" her entire life and that "doors have always opened" for her.
Night Angel appeared at a motel in the first clue package video, opening door number four to reveal men with duck bills on their faces, while door number five opened to a group of angry older women.
Night Angel also referenced several famous songs in the first video, with lines such as "like a landslide," "that boy is mine," and "it's my prerogative to have a little fun, y'all."
In the second clue package video, there was a fireplace, a pitcher of sweet tea, a white fan, and a graffiti drawing with a castle and a strawberry.
Additionally, Night Angel mentions having been "surrounded by other angels" before deciding to "leave her safe place" and "build an empire."
Night Angel's third clue package video revealed that the celebrity has "been doing this since she was a teen," and always had to juggle school with following her dream. Though she missed out on her senior prom, Night Angel made sure to earn her diploma and attend her graduation.
Other clues in the same video included a rotary dial phone, with the phone piece off the hook.

Kandi Burruss
After Night Angel's stellar performances, viewers are 100% positive that the celebrity behind the mask is Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kandi Burruss. Besides swearing they recognize her distinct voice, fans are pointing out that Kandi has a restaurant called Old Lady Gang, which would explain the mob of angry older women in the first clue package video. Plus, the strawberry castle clue could definitely be a reference to how the restaurant has a location in Castleberry Hill! (And, of course, the sweet tea clue matches up with Kandi being from the South.)
As for the rest of the clues we've been given, they match up perfectly with Kandi's known history as a member of the vocal group Xscape. Besides Night Angel's heavenly performances, the clue about her missing senior prom due to career obligations — but making sure to attend her graduation — was the same exact story Kandi posted on Instagram way back in 2014:
"My group #Xscape was mad at me for going to my graduation because we had a show that day," Kandi wrote. "I had missed all the senior trips, senior prom, etc... But I refused to miss my graduation!"
Plus, the clue with the off-the-hook telephone? Probably because she missed out on prom due to working with Xscape on their album "Off The Hook"!

The Empire star certainly matches up with Night Angel saying she "built an empire" in the third clue package video. Night Angel also mentions in the second clue package that she "hustled" to build the empire, which might reference Taraji being in the 2005 movie Hustle & Flow. Additionally, when it's mentioned that the one thing Night Angel was "determined not to miss was earning her diploma," an astronomy quiz is shown on a wall, which could be a subtle nod to Taraji's role in the 2016 space movie Hidden Figures.
