Mary J. Blige is dropped new music and some epic photos on IG this week.
In the pics, Mary is showing off how super-strong her abs, legs, and... everything are is while wearing a fringed swimsuit.
She doesn't share a ton about her current workout routines, but back in 2019, the singer was aiming to work out four times per week.
“Good Morning, Gorgeous!” Mary J. Blige recently shared some snaps from a fabulous yacht outing, and she is absolutely living the life. In the pics, the singer got busy showing off her curves and strong abs and legs, and even a peek of her toned booty. She truly is glowing and confident in these shots.
Since this is Mary J. Blige, this is no ordinary swimsuit moment I'm talking about. If you swipe through her post, you'll see Mary rocking a glittery, colorful, striped swimsuit with a long fringe that blows in the breeze on the boat. And around her neck, she has enough bling to weigh a girl down, but Mary holds her head high. This moment is simply *chef's kiss*, and it's made all the better by her strength and confidence.
“Ain’t worried bout nothing, Everything’s looking up ✨💖 New music video Friday!!” Mary captioned the photos.
Obviously, Mary’s friends and fans loved the truly *iconic* look, and were sure to let her know in the comments section. “Serving us looks Mary🍾," Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sheree Whitfield commented. Others seemed at a loss for words and relied on fire emojis to do the talking for them.
No matter how you frame it, Mary is incredibly strong from head to toe in these pics, so if you're wondering how the star takes care of her health and wellness, you're probably not alone. Women’s Health has some insights for you.

First thing to know: Mary doesn’t share too much about her workout routines, especially in recent years, but anyone who has seen her drop it low on a stage knows the woman has some serious cardio power.
However, she told Self in 2019 that she’s not a big fan of working out. Still, at that time, she said she'd motivate herself to hit the gym four times a week with a trainer.
“It's full body,” she told the mag. “Sometimes I'll tell them, okay, well, let's concentrate on the legs, well let's concentrate on the arms, or let's go hard on the abs.” For her final session of the week, she goes IN on cardio. “I mean, you have to train like an athlete,” she said. “This is the game.” Well, yeah, if you want to have moves like Mary, definitely!
Mary also makes sure to stay tuned in to what her body is telling her. "The thing I love about my body now is that I can hear it speak to me. You know, after you go through so much in your life you can hear your body say, 'okay enough partying.' Or 'enough doing this, enough doing that,'" she told Shape during a 2019 interview.
And she loves her body for what it can do for her. "My body image and self esteem is at a pretty good place. I've grown to be comfortable with what I have, and what I have is all I'm gonna get, is me," Mary said. "I have to build myself up inside, spiritually."
Mary hasn’t shared a lot about her diet, but she did quit drinking more than 10 years after the passing of Whitney Houston, she told The Guardian in 2015, which she credits for improving her health in many ways.
She starts her mornings with prayer, protein shakes, and a lot of water, she told Shape. "First fruits of my day go to God, go to prayer. Get myself dressed, and then I go to the gym. I drink a protein shake," she says. "I drink a lot of water. I try to drink at least half a gallon of water at the gym. Through the day I try to eat as healthy as possible; salads, fish. And then of course, like I get facials as well."
Mary you are so strong and incredible. I will be counting down the minutes until the music video drop!
