‘Marvelous Mrs. Maisel’ Star Alex Borstein Honored with Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress

At tonight’s 70th annual Emmy Awards, Alex Borstein received the statuette for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her role as Susie in The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel.

She edged out Zazie Beetz for Atlanta (FX), Aidy Bryant for Saturday Night Live (NBC), Betty Gilpin for GLOW (Netflix), Leslie Jones for Saturday Night Live (NBC), Kate McKinnon for Saturday Night Live (NBC), Laurie Metcalf for Roseanne (ABC) and Megan Mullally for Will & Grace (NBC).

We’ll drink to that.
