Marvel Teases Crossover With 'Avengers,' 'X-Men' and 'Eternals'

Marvel has officially released a teaser for Judgment Day which will see the Avengers, X-Men and the Eternals on a collision course for the summer of 2022.

In 2012, Marvel comic book fans saw an epic crossover that resulted from Avengers vs. X-Men which later proved to be a major commercial success despite the mixed reviews. Prior to the debut of Eternals, writer Kieron Gillen hinted at other aspects of his storylines that might touch within the MCU, "For me, it's the ideal mix of huge and contained. It's touching some of the most important players and pieces in the Marvel universe (and so clearly is going to echo out) while also being entirely its own book, a singular compelling statement. The opening year is an epic, and the aim is to be classic." Gillen is also set to write the new 2022 X-Men series, Immortal X-Men which is launching as a part of Destiny of X.

While it is uncertain if the Avengers, Eternals, and X-Men will all face-off on Judgment Day, the crossover will see one of the most epic moments in the MCU. In the past, Marvel has alluded to an "all-out war" that could happen between the Eternals and the Avengers. In a cryptic teaser, Marvel releases a short clip that features the three major emblems with the accompanying caption "Judgment Day is coming." Take a look below.
