Martha Stewart Shares Birthday Selfie After Enjoying a 'Bit Too Much' Wine

The birthday behavior is in full effect!

Martha Stewart celebrated her 81st birthday on Wednesday (August 3), and it seems she definitely enjoyed herself.

The TV personality shared a birthday selfie on Instagram, admitting that she hadn't skimped on the wine before heading to a celebratory dinner in her honor.

"Birthday selfie prior to big bday dinner -we had a delicious lunch and just a bit too much @19crimes martha’s chard," she captioned the post.

Martha's Chard, the home decor mogul's very own namesake chardonnay, was released earlier this year as a part of Treasury Wine Estates’ 19 Crimes wine labels.

Though Stewart lay slightly awkwardly positioned in the snapshot, the photo received plenty of love from her fans and followers, as birthday wishes poured in (pun intended) to the comment section.

"There’s no such thing as too much Martha’s chard. Happy happy Martha! ❤️❤️❤️❤️ 🍷 🍷 🍷," one user wrote, while model Karlie Kloss chimed in with, "Happpy birthday my Birthday buddy 😍," suggesting she was also born on the same day.

The official 19 Crimes account even joined in the wishes, commenting, "Happy Birthday to our lovely partner in wine!" along with laughing and clapping emojis.

Loving notes continued to flood the post, with fans penning sweet messages to the lifestyle business mogul. "Happy birthday Martha! It’s an absolute pleasure to walk the earth during the same time as you 🍸," one social media user expressed, as another offered, "Day drinking is hard😂, but I hope you continue to have a fabulous birthday! You deserve the best! Thank you for being such a great role model!"

Aside from perfecting selfies, Stewart is opening a new Las Vegas restaurant in the coming weeks. On Wednesday, she shared a photo of herself posing next to a Caesar statue at the Paris Vegas hotel, where the eatery will be stationed.
