Martha Stewart’s 5 Favorite Rosés

Which rosé pairs best with the beach and a bag of chips? Martha Stewart has the answer.

If you've ever wondered which rosé Martha Stewart would drink in the bath, that's sort of creepy of you. But...same. We just like a good wine rec, specifically for baths—is that so wrong? And the woman who literally taught us how to live has an opinion we take very highly. Plus, she launched Martha Stewart Wine Co. this week, because she can do anything she wants. You gotta respect that, and respect it with a glass of rosé we shall. There are five rosés on the site now, so we asked her (via email) to give us a rec for five very specific situations that probably reflect more on the writer than anything else. But take this information and use it, friends:

Which rosé pairs well with...

The beach, drinking it out of plastic cups, probably with a side of chips and salsa.

2015 Les Collines de Cézanne Rosé

"This wine is from the South of France, so a great wine to sip while dreaming of your next beach vacation, or while at the beach."

A dinner party where you have to impress a VIP guest, but then might end up drinking the whole bottle yourself.

2016 Villa Ruby Caresse de Rosé

"This wine is made by the award-winning Bordeaux wine magnate Bernard Magrez, owner of four Grand Cru Classés châteaux…an impressive fact for guests!"

At the movies, snuck into a thermos, with a jumbo bag of buttered popcorn.

2016 Voluptueux Malbec Rosé

(No comment, which, we get.)

After a really long work day, in the bath tub, podcasts blaring. Rosé may or may not be on ice in this scenario.

NV Abbazia Moscato Rosé Dolce

"Sweet, sparkling Italian bubbles, perfect to enjoy while in the bubbles in your tub. Use your sink as an ice bucket and chill well to enjoy."

Poolside with pizza and an unauthorized celebrity biography.

2016 Racine Côtes de Provence Rosé

"This wine is full and expressive with a mixture of fruity and floral tones—perfect for poolside sipping with your favorite pizza."
