Honestly, Marsai Martin stole the show at Creed III's Los Angeles premiere on February 27. The young star arrived at the premiere with stunning chocolate-hued box braids styled into a half-updo.

We audibly gasped when we saw pictures of Martin with these waist-length braids. She paired the braided style with a silver gown that looked like molten metal. These aren't your regular box braids; they are goddess box braids. The bohemian style involves adding curly pieces of hair throughout the braid or to the ends of the braids, and it looks like Martin's braids have a bit of both.

The water waves in Martin's hair appeared to be a lighter chocolate hue in comparison to the rest of her darker brown hair. A few of her braids were twisted together into a topknot for the half-up style. Curly face-framing pieces from her bun cascaded downward toward her chest. Last but certainly not least, her baby hairs were swooped into little S-shaped loops along her hairline.

If the braids weren't stunning enough, then you won't be able to handle her makeup. Just look at that face. The Blackish star was literally glowing that day with a faint shimmer on her eyes, wispy lashes, and brown glossy lips.

The actor is a big fan of braids. In fact, she previously told Allure in February 2022 that they are her favorite styling technique because of the minimal daily upkeep required. "You just wake up, take off your bonnet, and your hair is just perfect." Perfect is certainly a fitting word to describe this entire look.
