Sandeepa and Chetan, who maintain a self-named travel Tumblr, knew they loved long-term travel when they married – they just weren’t sure when they could get around to it. One an electronics engineer and the other in advertising and design, they kept postponing longer trips until they decided the time was now, “to see what’s out there and in the process find something new within.”
They’ve taken the plunge by keeping a photo journal of their travels through some of the most rural and remote parts of India, such as Zanskar and the Kashmir valley. It doesn’t take long to see their photography talent, and we admire their enthusiasm for local cultures and residents, whether it’s explaining how a bull gets sold to a farmer or random close-ups of a village’s children and elders.
