It's with much relief that we've discovered – yet again – that Marks & Spencer can read our minds.

Why we rate it
For the ultimate in comfort, this V-neck nightie is made with pure cotton jersey (which has been responsibly sourced – no eco nightmares here) so it'll move and stretch with your body as you sleep.
As ever, M&S leads the way with size diversity – it's available in sizes 6 to 24 in a crisp, fresh white or a classic navy.
It's also a longer length, which is great for comfort and modesty. But if you're worried about it being too long, one (petite) customer reassures: "Size 10 fitted normally – [I'm] a petite 12 5ft 2in. Didn't drag on floor."
But we especially love the gorgeous, broderie sleeves and detail at the top of the back. It elevates this nightie from a nice-to-have staple, to a feminine, pretty and expensive-looking must-have.
