Mariska Hargitay, the actress behind everyone’s favorite Law and Order: SVU detective, stepped out for a date night with her husband Peter Hermann. Peter was dapper in a charcoal suit, but Mariska totally stole the show with her head-to-toe hot pink ensemble.

She posted several photos from the outing, and we’re obsessed with her entire look. She wore a satin midi dress complete with some seriously cool animal-print booties in the same shade. When she was outside the event, she topped it all off with a neutral coat that looks so cozy and chic. That’s how you make an entrance!

The couple attended the Atlantic Theater Company’s annual gala, which took place in New York City. Mariska wrote that she had an “inspiring” time in one of her posts, and in the other she humble bragged about her handsome husband. “In step with peter Hermann,” she wrote, along with the hashtag #silverfox.

It’s been an exciting few days for Mariska, whose series was just renewed for a whopping three more seasons. That’s good news for us, because we can’t imagine a world without Mariska and her BFF Ice-T hunting down the bad guys.
