Marilyn Monroe fans can now own a piece of cinema history

"Essentially Marilyn: The Exhibit" has some of Marilyn Monroe's most memorable costumes and artifacts up for auction. The exhibit at the Paley Center for Media in Beverly Hills has a replica of the iconic white "subway dress" from her 1955 movie, "The Seven Year Itch." There are childhood photos of Monroe before she became a Hollywood icon. There's even an address book with her ex-husband, baseball star Joe DiMaggio's name. The items will be auctioned at the end of October. The free exhibit runs from Aug. 18 to the end of September.
