Much like everything in fashion, my sartorial choices are are either giant or tiny. Recently, though, I've leaned more towards larger silhouettes, from my bags to blazers to jewelry and, now, my jeans. My vintage straight-leg Levi's just won't cut it these days. I want a pair so wide that people mistake me for wearing JNCOs. Kidding. Or am I?

I've slowly been adding a few denim pieces to appease my new obsession, and the next item on my wishlist are these barrel leg jeans from Cos. They're mid-rise and made from a structured, heavyweight cotton denim, which will help maintain the "giant" silhouette. Plus, they feature a single pocket in the back that's a bit jarring at first, but then you're convinced it's one of the more interesting details about these jeans. This pair comes in a few different colors, like cream, vintage blue and black — but I'm going for "sage beige," which is pretty much a fancy way to say "khaki."

I can see myself pairing almost everything in my wardrobe with these jeans, from little shirts (obviously) to my favorite knitted pullovers once the fall season really kicks in. And with fashion month just around the corner, I'll have to make a move fast so I can get more cost-per-wear out of them, too.
