Margot Robbie is making waves within the Pirates of the Caribbean universe. She’s teaming up with her Birds of Prey screenwriter, Christina Hodson, to bring a new film in the popular Disney franchise to life.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, the actress turned producer will star in the female-led film, which will contain a new storyline featuring different characters. Favorites like Captain Jack Sparrow are not set to appear in the spin-off. The project is still in its early stages of development, so we don’t know much about a release date yet. What we do know is that judging by Margot’s past films, this one is sure to be a hit.

The Pirates franchise has proven to be a lucrative investment for Walt Disney Pictures. It grossed more than $4.5 billion across its five feature films, including sequels 2006’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, 2007’s Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, 2011’s Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and 2017’s Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

Margot’s acting chops and producing capabilities (she founded her production company, LuckyChap Entertainment, in 2014) make her an asset to any project. “I work with an amazing group of people, I love everyone at our company, and it’s not just about finding roles for me to do, it’s about finding roles for actresses in general and actors and first- and second-time directors, female directors, writers,” she told Us Weekly in 2017. One thing’s for sure: This next movie will definitely require all hands on deck.
