Margot Robbie is a huge Love Island fan and here's who she wants to win
Love Island has fans in high places, it turns out. Including Academy Award nominee and mega-famous actor Margot Robbie, who revealed this week that not only is she a huge fan of the show but she's already decided who she's backing to win this year's series.
Speaking in a recent interview, Robbie revealed that even though she is living in the US she still tunes in every night to watch the show. Plus, like any true fan, she's picked her favourite and she's staying loyal.
"I love Liberty. She is my favourite, for sure," Robbie told The Mirror, adding, "It’s incredible how much you care about these people you have never met."
We're so glad to hear that she's as invested as we are. And if all that dedication wasn't enough, Robbie even had a Love Island themed birthday party earlier this month. According to pictures posted on Instagram by pal Samara Weaving, when the Wolf of Wall Street actor turned 31 on July 2 she had her house decked out to look like the villa, while guests showed up in Love Island-esque swimwear and captioned the pics "Got a text!"
While Robbie has been married to partner Tom Ackerley for 5 years, she added that even if she were single she didn't think she'd make a very good Islander.
"There is no way I was ever cool enough to be on it," she explained. "I don’t think people want to spend a summer watching a girl who sits around and drinks beer and eats chips every evening."
