All forms of love benefit us in some way, including romantic love. This universal emotion is so relatable, and apart of the collective human experience, hence why it's consistently expressed in movies and music. Chiefly in R&B music. R&B's full name may be rhythm and blues, but there is a whole lot of love in between there.
While some R&B lyrics are understandable, there are a few instances where the song lyrics go right over your head and past your heart. Although beautiful and endearing in theory, some R&B lyrics can be slightly problematic if put into practice.
