It feels like forever and a day since Manifest fans learned last summer that the show was officially getting revived on Netflix after NBC canceled the mystery drama. Unsurprisingly, many rejoiced when Manifest was picked up for a season 4, even if it's set to be the final one. While there have been rumblings about filming and when the new season would premiere, fans were looking forward to hearing a release date during Netflix's Geeked Week ... but that didn't exactly happen.

On June 6, Netflix dropped a sneak peek at what's to come for the Josh Dallas and Melissa Roxburgh-led series. After watching the two-minute clip, it looks like something is about to go down for Michaela Stone as she investigates a shipyard in NYC.

"Cherry blossoms. There you are," she says in the snippet. Accompanied by aerial camera shots and suspenseful music, Michaela breaks into a cargo container. In the of midst of investigating contents, a man reached out to her and his arm is inscribed with "Stone 828." Could this be another nod to Flight 828 on the show?

Although the preview may have satisfied some fans that new episodes were on the way, most were upset by the fact that Netflix didn't announce a release date. In other words, folks are going to have to be a little bit more patient before season 4 premieres.

Despite trying to appease long-awaiting fans with just a quick clip, the streaming platform heard from loyal Manifest followers when the video was posted to its official YouTube channel. Tons took to the comments section to voice their mixed opinions on the latest Manifest news.

"This got me so hyped! I can't wait to see what's in store for the final season," one person wrote. "Finally! I still wish we got a release date though but this is awesome!” another added. "If you can release a 'sneak peak' you can release the full season, there is no reason to make people wait," a different fan said.

Feelings aside, Netflix giving fans this sneak peek is a good sign that there's more action coming. In the meantime, we'll just be here theorizing when Manifest season 4 will be released. Hey, Manifesters got it right the last time!
