Mandy Moore Proves Bright Eyes and Lips Can Be the Perfect Combo

Mandy Moore isn’t going to let old-school beauty rules stop her from creating a look that’s so her. We’ve all heard that you can wear a bold lip or a bright eye, but they can never go together — but according to Moore, you shouldn’t have to choose.

The 32-year-old This is Us actress has shown her true colors on the red carpet, particularly her affinity for orange tones, and she kept it up for Thursday’s look.

Moore paired a poppy glossy lip with matchy peach cheeks and glittery lavender eyeshadow. And while her makeup is all about color, the trick to pulling it off is a less-is-more approach.

The shadow is a muted tone and doesn’t go above the lids or under the eyes, and the blush matches the warm undertones of her skin. Avoiding a heavy-handed application lets the lips do the talking.

She completed the look with simple, textured waves with face-framing pieces that brought light to her face.
