It’s been six months since the season four finale of This Is Us aired on NBC, and our Jack Pearson withdrawal is finally getting some relief.

Earlier this week, Mandy Moore (Rebecca) documented her return to the This Is Us set by posting a series of videos on her Instagram Story. The 36-year-old actress kicked things off by sharing a glimpse into her morning routine, which includes eye patches and an early wake up call.

In the video (screenshot above), Moore gushes over her excitement, saying, “Getting ready to go back to work. My first day. I'm really grateful—really, really, really grateful—and excited. I'll wake up at 4 a.m. any day.”

The actress shared another video after she arrived on set. Unlike the first clip, Moore is donning a fresh face of makeup and wearing a Rebecca-approved dress. “Mama Pearson ready to GO,” she wrote.

Moore followed up with footage of Milo Ventimiglia, who is wearing a classic Jack Pearson outfit (consisting of a flannel button-down paired with a Sherpa jean jacket).

The behind-the-scenes photo looks slightly different from past seasons—not only is Ventimiglia wearing a face mask, but he’s also standing in a wooden box with plexiglass. “Work is a little different these days,” the caption read.

Moore concluded with a video that proves the cast and crew are following all social distancing guidelines.

In the clip, the actress is wearing a mask as she unveils a prop box marked “Sanitized.”

“Here’s where our props go,” she says. “It’s a brave new world.”

This Is Us season five will premiere on Tuesday, October 27, on NBC.
