Man allegedly steals Tom Brady jersey from Patriots Hall of Fame, is reportedly arrested while wearing it

A man visiting the Patriots Hall of Fame didn’t make it far after allegedly taking a Tom Brady jersey off a display and leaving with it.

Zanini Cineus, 33, of Rhode Island, was caught while wearing the jersey just outside in the parking lot. He was arrested and charged with larceny. According to police, he had taken other memorabilia as well, CBS Boston reported.

The jersey is worth $10,000, police said. The team said it isn’t a game-worn item.

Cineus pleaded not guilty at his arraignment and was freed on personal recognizance.

This wasn’t the first time an authentic Brady jersey was stolen. The FBI was previously enlisted and was successful in recovering two stolen game-worn Super Bowl jerseys and returning them to the team.
