A man suffered an injury after a car was driven down a seafront in Wales.

Footage showed people fleeing as a motorist drove down the promenade in Marine Terrace, Ceredigion, in Aberystwyth at approximately 4.50am on Saturday.

Several pedestrians managed to avoid getting run over but one man appeared to be hit after the vehicle reversed when he was seemingly trying to stop the driver.

The car eventually came to a stop close to the pier.
